There was something – something – that brought you to the mat that first time. Maybe it was fitness. Maybe stress relief. Maybe curiosity.

Now, things have changed. As you adapt, you may be seeking something different from your practice. Whether you have a specific goal in mind or you’re looking for a deeper understanding of what is happening during your practice, private sessions can help steer you in the right direction.

A private session is dedicated, one-on-one time with an experienced instructor where you can:

  • Define and connect with your objectives and goals for your yoga practice, whether those are physical, emotional, or energetic.
  • Develop an approach to your practice (in classes or at home) that supports your goals.
  • Explore finer points of alignment to get the most out of your postures physically and energetically.
  • Explore aspects of yoga outside of the physical postures – like breath work, meditation, and ethical disciplines – to support your physical practice.
  • Learn modifications for your body.
  • Learn approaches to your practice to help in healing injuries and supporting overall health.

Private sessions are ideal for:

  • Beginners who want to feel secure in a class setting and practice safely.
  • Experienced students looking for more from their practice.
  • People recovering from injuries or illness.
  • People with chronic injuries or discomfort, who can benefit from modifications.
  • Students with specific goals for their practice, such as stress relief, strength, flexibility, weight management, or emotional release.

Private sessions are 60-90 minutes, and consist of conversation, some physical practice, and may include additional breath work or meditation. Hypnosis or reiki may also be included at the client’s request.

The cost for a private session is $125.
